Shadow of Music

Among all the maestros I like, Daniel Barenboim was not a conspicuous one until yesterday. When I incidentally accessed to his website, I was shocked. His schedule is full of events, it’s even difficult to imaging how could he conduct one Mahler’s symphony yesterday, have a piano recital today and conduct a piano concerto tomorrow. But he really did so. Somebody may claim that in this way his performance maybe poor quality. But based on two recent live recordings of well tempered Clavier and Goldberg variations, these are definitely of the best recordings as far as I can tell.

 

It just reminds me I wasted my last night on Wii…I am so embarrassed…
